Club Information

Gem County Rod & Gun Club was founded in 1937 and functions as a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization. The club facilities are located at 3600 E. Main St in Emmett overlooking the Emmett Valley.  The range location and setting in the foothils create one of the nicest shooting facilities in the state.

The range offers Five, 100 yard Rifle Bays, with fixed shooting benches, shade structures, and fixed steel targets on several ranges. In addition to the the Rifle Bays there are Five, 30 yard pistol bays available for members. The range operates 365 days a year, from Sunrise to Sunset.

The range  hosts several shooting disciplines each month that are open to Members and Guests. These include Cowboy Action Matches, Steel Challenge Matches, USPSA Matches, Rimfire Challenge Matches, and Black Powder Matches. Check the Club Calendar for our scheduled events.

GCRGC also hosts the Scooters Youth Hunting Camp every Spring, Idaho Fish and Game Hunters Education, and several local Law Enforcement agencies.

Club Meetings

Club meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the Gem Senior Citizens Center located at 719 S. Johns Ave in Emmett at 7:00pm. All members are encouraged to attend the meetings, participate in discussions and offer ideas or suggestions.
